Golden milk is nothing new but turmeric milk – yes, the turmeric milk got a western touch and became golden milk. The Indian Turmeric milk went to Europe and America and turn out to be Golden milk, but it doesn't get finished here, but in some café's, they are selling Golden Milk. Just think how Indian invention went throughout the world from zero to turmeric Milk (golden milk). Indian invention is world catchy (eye-catchy).

 Turmeric in Latin known as Terra Meritta means Sacred Soil which belongs to the ginger family Zingiberaceae. In India, the rhizomatous plants are native to south India that requires a climate between 20-30*c [68 to 86*F] and a suitable annual rainfall to prosper. To make turmeric, rhizomes of Curcuma Longa are boiled, dried, and polished. Turmeric has a bitter, warm, black-pepper-like taste and is powdery.

The main active ingredient in turmeric is Curcumin- a bright yellow chemical produced by the turmeric plant that is used as a food additive and approved by World Health Organization, European Parliament, and United States Food & Drug Administration.

Turmeric has nearly 40 different genres & 400 species. The most common varieties of Turmeric are curcumin longa, Curcuma Aromatic, Curcuma Amada, Curcuma Algastifolia, Curcuma Zidoria.

Turmeric is not only limited to Golden Milk only but in Indian add turmeric while cooking, DIY for decorating paper, Skincare with turmeric. How to make Golden Milk?

Ingredients:

1/2 Glass Milk

1 tsp of turmeric

Optional Items You can Add to enhance the taste.

1 small piece of grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp of ginger powder

1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder

1 pinch of ground black pepper

1 tsp of honey or maple syrup.

Direction:

Add all ingredients and bring it to a boil. If you have added grated ginger to it, strain golden milk in glass. And Enjoy.
